About Course

本直播课程针对的是小学五年级学生，选用的是人民教育出版社《PEP小学英语·五年级（上）》教材，本课程以听说、兴趣为主，内容紧扣实际生活场景，注重英文学习的听说读基础技能，通过38个课时的精细化学习安排，激发6-12岁学生的学习兴趣，让学生从此爱上英语学习。

This course is geared towards fifth grade students, using "5th Grade PEP Primary English" published by People's Education Press Ltd., focusing primarily on listening and speaking exercises with different interests and practical daily scenarios, reinforcing English learning through 38 lecture hours with detailed lesson planning, encouraging students 6 to 12 years of age to develop the skills and love to learn English.
教学目的

Course Objective

1、能听懂、会说12组会话，并能进行简单的交流。
2、能听、说、认读84个单词和听、说、读、写5个元音字母并且能听、说、读、写25个单词（包括教室、书包、同学、家具、住宅结构、家庭成员、职业、数字、爱好、食品和饮料、餐具等几个话题），和进行简单的运用。
3、能完成6个自我评价活动。
4、能听懂6个幽默小故事。
5、能了解6项简单的中西文化知识。

To be able to understand and speak 12 different types of conversations, and be able to participate in a simple conversation.
To be able to listen, speak and read 84 vocabularies, be able to listen, speak, read and write 5 vowels, be able to listen, speak, read and write 25 vocabularies (including topics such as classroom, schoolbag, classmates, furniture, housing structure, family members, occupation, numbers, interests, food and beverage, dining utensils, etc.), and be able to use them in sentences.
To be able to complete 6 types of self-evaluating activities.
To be able to listen and understand 6 humorous stories.
To understand 6 types of eastern and western cultural information.

2) You will need parental supervision to watch the lectures and to interact with the teachers.
3) You will need to follow teacher's lecture schedule and consistently participate in lectures every week.
4) During lecture time, you will need to follow along with the teacher, speak, participate, and practice accordingly.

Hello! My name is Dita Amtey. I am a native California resident with an interest in travel, culture, wildlife, exercise, and education. My  teaching experience dates as far back as my  teenage years when I began volunteering my summers in a local Montessori preschool classroom. I worked and volunteered in an early childhood education institution and ESL middle school class room during my my time in college and continued my educational pursuits with the YMCA of Greater Seattle, Conservation Corp of MN and Global Young Leaders Conference in Washington DC where I worked with students of a variety of ages in the form of environmental education, team building, career mentoring, and more. I am very excited to continue my teaching journey with English Services USA and cant wait to become part of this impressive online teaching community.
